New WWE All Stars Trailer Comes Down The Aisle
A new contender is stepping into the squared circle of Professional Wrestling as THQ and World Wrestling Entertasinment have revealed their new trailer for WWE All Stars. Due for release in the spring, this will be a companion piece to their regular Smackdown series, rather than a replacement. The title is focusing on a different style of play, seeing arcade style over-the-top moves and action shake the ring, with deformed, exaggerated versions of the wrestlers performing the moves. This will combine the grappling of a more traditional wrestling game with combo and juggling mechanics – most often seen in fighting games such as the Tekken series.
The game is also set to feature a roster that boasts both the megastars of today and the legends of yesteryear. Some of those pictured in the trailer are current athletes Triple H, Rey Mysterio Junior and The Big Show, and Legendary competitors Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Andre the Giant, The Rock and Macho Man Randy Savage. Commentary for the title will be provided by the classic and long-standing team of Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler. No Hulk Hogan though as he works for rival company TNA!

WWE All Stars will be released on March 29th in North America and April 1st across Europe. It will be available for Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and PSP. Meanwhile check out our review of previous game Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 here.
