Shocking News: Scarface Named Sweariest Game Ever
In a piece of news that will likely shake your very foundations and challenge your preconceptions, 2006 Vivendi title Scarface: The World is Yours – which was based on the 1983 Al Pacino super-sweary film of the same name, Scarface – has been named in the Guiness World Records: 2011 Gamers Edition as the sweariest game ever made. The game has been recorded as containing over 5000 uses of profanity – much more than any other game ever released. Surprising, I really thought Super Monkey Ball: Deluxe would have been up there too.
Scarface: The World is Yours was released in 2006 on PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox, and re-released for Nintendo Wii in 2007. It received generally good reviews, but failed to mount a real challenge against perennial mother-bothering series, Grand Theft Auto.
