Play Kinect With Olympic Athletes and Win a Prize!

How fast can you run? More importantly, can you run faster than an Olympic 100m gold medalist? How about on the 100m track on Kinect Sports? If you fancy your chances then the “Game with Fame” competition is for you! The lovely folk at Microsoft are offering you and your family the chance to take part in winning an amazing prize and take on the frankly epic “Kinect Sports” Challenge.

The winning family will win the chance to test their athleticism, by competing face-to-face against gold medal winners, Linford Christie and Mark Lewis-Francis, as part of “Kinect Sports” ‘Game with Fame’, whilst a runner-up family will win an exclusive video chat with the Olympic stars from their own living room via Video Kinect.

With the New Year comes new challenges, and if one is to get your family up off the sofa and get moving then “Kinect Sports” is the way to do it.  You will have the opportunity to try a variety of track and field events against Linford Christie and Mark Lewis-Francis, and perhaps get a few running tips from the masters themselves.

With “Kinect Sports” you’re not only the star player, you are the controller — through the magic of Kinect for Xbox 360. The first full-body, controller-free sports game that lets you physically compete with friends over Xbox LIVE, “Kinect Sports” lets you turn your living room into a world-class stadium, bowling alley, football pitch or track and field arena. See a ball? Kick it. Spike it. Bump it. Even give it a little topspin.

To be in with a chance to take on Linford and Mark, or take part in the live video chat, plus win a 4GB Kinect console bundle, simply enter via Twitter!  All users need to do is follow @tweetbox360 and upload a picture of yourself playing “Kinect Sports”, or what you think you would look like playing the game, with the tag #KinectSportsGWF, whilst describing in less than 140 characters why you think you should win – bonus points will be given for the most dynamic running poses.  Competition closes Monday 24 January.

The competition has already started, but there’s still time to enter. So good luck and try not to stare at Mr. Christie’s lunchbox! For more details head on over to the official Facebook page.
