According to “insider whispers” heard by the Official PlayStation Magazine in the UK, the original Metal Gear Solid trilogy is set to receive a HD upgrade on the PlayStation 3. No details regarding a release date are given by the magazine, but it is stated that the trilogy is “in the facelift queue”.
We don’t know what to be more excited about, the fact that a Metal Gear Solid HD trilogy is a more than just a mere possibility or that there is an actual “facelift queue”. What other classic games could be in that queue? We’re going crazy just thinking about it, so it’s probably best to just froth at the mouth at the prospect of a Metal Gear Solid HD trilogy for now.
