Mass Effect 2 PS3 Version Now Dated

One of the best titles to be released this year and the first game ever to receive an official GodisaGeek 10/10 has finally received a solid release date for the PlayStation 3. That’s right folks, Mass Effect 2 will be hitting the PlayStation 3 on January 18th in North America and January 21st in Europe.

The game will be released on a single blu-ray disc and will include all the DLC that has been released so far as well as an access code to the Cerberus Network. In addition to that, seeing as the original game isn’t getting a PlayStation 3 release, the lovely folks at BioWare will be including an interactive comic in the game which will fill players in on the events leading up to the beginning of Mass Effect 2. Any choices made whilst reading this interactive comic will have an effect on the character created by the player when they eventually start a new game, much like the effect the game save from the original Mass Effect had on the certain events in the sequel.
