PC Gamers Still Suffering From Black Ops Lag
If you have been enjoying Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops on the consoles, please take a moment away from the fragtastic action to acknowledge your PC cousins. The PC version of Black Ops has been suffering from mysterious “lag” and frame rate issues from day one and three patches later, little has changed for users of the mouse and keyboard.
Players are reporting a mixed bag of issues over on the official Call of Duty: Black Ops forums. The issues range from random drops in frame rate, to long freezes in play and ultimately devalue the gaming experience. Aggrieved players from around the world are allegedly reporting the matter to local and national media outlets with users in the UK apparentley reporting the matter to the BBC’s Watchdog.
We have been playing the PC version of Black Ops since launch and have encountered some of the issues mentioned, it seems 2-3 games in the lag hits in random spots giving us the impression that Activision’s latest shooter does not like our hardware.
