Evolution 2010 Results
Evolution was bigger, badder and better this year, with 17,000 entrants and up to 27 different nations in attendance it was definitely the biggest and most diverse Evolution yet. For those of you not in the know, Evolution is the fighting game communities premium event/tournament and takes place every year, but with the recent rebirth of the fighting game genre it has blown up to epic proportions.
This years Evolution took place in Las Vegas’ Caesar’s Palace and was being streamed live for the first time courtesy of Stickcam, G4 and the guys over at Level Up. Regardless of whether you made it out to Vegas, were lounging in front of your TV or sitting in front of a PC you could stay up to date with the happenings at this years event and there was enough going on to warrant it. From Ken Masters’ signed replica cowboy hat to Capcom’s first publicly playable build of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 and Yoshinori Ono’s (Street Fighter IV producer) teasing of his latest title that he assures us will be unveiled at Comic-Con, it was all there.
For those of you not crazy enough to to stay up until 6am (GMT) to watch the event to its conclusion your probably wondering who took home the gold, silver and bronze for each game so we wont keep you in suspense for much longer.
