THQ Announce Darksiders 2 Plus More
THQ have announced that Darksiders will be getting a sequel next year. Recently there were rumours floating around suggesting that Darksiders didn’t sell well enough for a sequel but thankfully they have been quelled. It might not have sold a huge amount of copies but it certainly impressed the majority of game critics, it even managed to get a GodisaGeek.com 9 out of 10!
To add to the Darksiders announcement, THQ also stated that Saint’s Row 3 and a sequel to the Wii exclusive, De Blob, will be released in 2011. Saint’s Row is already a pretty established franchise, with most seeing it as crazier version of Grand Theft Auto, so to the announcement of the third game in the series comes a no huge surprise. On the other hand a sequel to De Blob is a slight surprise because despite its quality it didn’t seem to strike a chord with your typical Wii gamer. Despite that though, any quality addition the Wii library is always welcome in our books!
