Alan Wake Release Date Revealed
Ahead of the X10, which begins later on today, a few details regarding Remedy’s Xbox 360 exclusive Alan Wake have emerged on the wonder that is the internet. The bit of information that will interest most gamers is that the game is finally going to be released on May 18th in North America and May 21st in Europe. To add to that juicy piece of information, the “limited collector’s edition” version of the game has also been unveiled and you can view the contents of that along with the all important boxart by hitting the jump! For now though, you can feast your eyes on the new X10 trailer and marvel at the mystery that is Alan Wake.
The contents of the collector’s edition will include:
- Game Disc in box with unique art
- Exclusive In-Game Audio Commentary and Hints by Remedy
- “The Alan Wake Files” – a 144pg book that includes a short story written by Alan Wake and compiles the FBI dossiers investigating the events in Bright Falls, WA
- Exclusive Audio Disc with Soundtrack and Score
- Game Add-on token redeemable on Xbox LIVE for the first Alan Wake add-on content pack
- Exclusive Xbox disc with special content: Alan Wake Xbox Live Theme and Alan Wake Avatar for Xbox LIVE
