2010 GAME British Academy Video Games Awards Nominees
So with the BAFTA’s around the corner it would seem it is time to start voting again and have your say on what you think was the best game of 2009. Today GAME released the nominees for the award and being as it’s the only one that is available to vote by the general public I would suggest you get your two cents in so to speak. A few of the titles up for nomination this year include the outrageously fun Beatles Rock Band, FIFA 10, Assassins Creed 2 and the record breaking Modern Warfare 2.
Last year, over 60,000 people voted for the GAME Award with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare scooping the prize and as much as we at GodisaGeek love the epic experience that is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 we would like to see someone else bag it this year as there were so many great titles.
Self proclaimed life long gamer Dara O’Briain is said to be hosting the event and has said “I am delighted to have been asked back to host the GAME BAFTA’s for the second year running. It’s an honour to acclaim the very real people whose creativity, innovation and wit produce such amazing virtual worlds”.
Hit the jump to check out the nominees for this years awards and then head over to www.baftagameaward.com and make your vote count and look out for the results on the 19th March.
