The latest issue of the popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has revealed that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will hit store shelves in Japan on March 18th 2010 (check out the scan here). No release date for the American and European versions of the game were announced but if previous Metal Gear titles are anything to go buy then it should be released soon after.
As most of you will know the game was announced this year at E3 as being a PSP exclusive title and will see players, once again, taking control of Naked Snake aka Big Boss. The game will be set in Costa Rica during the 1974 (10 years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3) and tells the story of events that lead up to Big Boss forming the infamous Outer Heaven. Even though it is a PSP exclusive game the majority of the team here at GodisaGeek.com is still very much looking forward to getting our hands on this because hey after all any Metal Gear title has to be good right?! Well apart from Metal Gear Acid of course, we are still trying to erase that from our memories!
