Wait, Germany is not the biggest market in Europe
It's ok Gfk Chart-Track, we all make mistakes.
Earlier today we brought you the news that Germany has taken over the UK as the biggest gaming market in Europe, well that is not true. Gfk Chart-Track, the organisation that released the information, has admitted to GamesIndustry.biz that the press release was incorrect and they will release an official correction shortly.
What does this mean? Well, it means that we (the UK) are still the biggest gaming market in Europe. Yay! Now delete the previous story from your minds and rejoice that in the fact that UK gamers still rule Europe, well sales wise anyway. 🙂
