PES 2011 3D Will Be Available As A 3DS Launch Title
Unless you live in a cave, are Amish, or hate new technology and have ended up at this website by mistake, then you will be aware that Nintendo recently announced their new handheld system; the Nintendo 3DS.
Arriving in Europe on March 25th, the handheld has just added another high profile title to its list of those available at launch: Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D. Or PES 2011 3D for short.
Konami are extolling the virtues of the new system, claiming that the “3D imaging capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS enhance the experience by giving real depth to its many searching passes, long crosses, and interplay of passes”. Konami has also added a ‘Player’ camera which shadows the users movements, allowing them to see passes and channels and player movements. When you pile all that on top of interesting 3DS Street Pass features, the UEFA Champions League license and a comprehensive Master League it sounds like Konami has combined genuine innovation with pre-existing strengths and mixed in a dash of PS1 classic Libero Grande for good measure. A very exciting prospect.
God is a Geek has also been lucky enough to lay hands on the probable box art for the game, which you can enjoy by clicking on the gallery below.
Both PES 2011 3D and the Nintendo 3DS will be available on March 25th. So start saving those pennies and priming those pre-orders that’s right around the corner.
