Baba Yaga DLC Coming to Rise of The Tomb Raider
Microsoft have announced the first pack of DLC coming to Rise of the Tomb Raider, based on the Slavic folklore character of Baba Yaga.
Titled Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch, the DLC plops Lara in the middle of a spooky forest controller by the Slavic witch, who lives in a house set upon giant chicken legs. She inhales some toxic pollen and enters an almost-nightmare world inhabited by supernatural enemies and the witch herself. Microsoft say that the content will add “hours of new gameplay”, bringing in new areas, temples and puzzles for players to discover.
It is due for release in January, and a price is currently unknown. Season Pass holders will gain instant access to the content upon it’s release. See the trailer above.
Rise of the Tomb Raider released on November 10 for Xbox One and will become available on PC and PlayStation 4 in late 2016.
