Kobojo’s Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey Set to Launch as a Premium Mobile Game
I’ve been looking forward to Kobojo’s mobile JRPG Zodiac for a long time.
Greg did a nice preview on it and it got me even more excited.
Today, Kobojo has announced that Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey will launch as a premium title and not a free to play one.
It will be released on iOS platforms in the United States of America and Europe later this year.
The game is in production at Kobojo’s Dundee, Scotland studio with the help of Kazushige Nojima (writer of Final Fantasy VII, VIII and X) and Hitoshi Sakimoto (composer of Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, and Final Fantasy XII).
It will launch as a premium priced app with multiple areas, dungeons, and more.
Post launch support will be episodic updates that add more areas, characters, powers, and more.
After showing it off at GDC and E3, the team decided to go premium instead of free to play with Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey.
It will be released later this year on Android followed by a release on PC and Sony platforms afterwards.
Pricing information will be released at a later date.
