Alien Isolation Limits Classic DLC to Pre-Orders

SEGA have announced that Alien Isolation will be getting two extra missions that focus on key scenes from the original 1979 film, Alien.

One level, “Crew Expendable”, will be available with the Nostromo Edition of the game, which will be available as a free day one upgrade.

The other, “Last Survivor”, will be available for pre-ordering at select retailers.

Golden Globe-winner Sigourney Weaver (Ellen Ripley), Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), Yaphet Kotto (Parker) and Ian Holm (Ash, likeness and sound-alike) are all lending their talents to these two levels, which is sure to interest fans of the classic film.

Is this cool? This is the sort of content that is going to make Alien fans go absolutely gaga – it’s seriously cool – so tucking it away as a pre-order bonus just, to me, seems almost unfair.

Alien Isolation will be available from October 7th.
