During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, president Satoru Iwata announced that the upcoming Donkey Kong game for Wii U will be delayed in Europe.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was originally planned to be released on December 6, but Iwata asked viewers of the presentation to understand that Tropical Freeze will now be released in Europe in February 2014.
In order to optimise the game, Retro and Nintendo need some more time, which has resulted in the game getting pushed back by two months.
At a time when the Wii U needs games, this isn’t the best news for owners of the system.
