Dead Island: Epidemic is a Zomba

Deep Silver have announced Dead Island Epidemic, a ZOMBA (Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena).

This free-to-play title will pit three teams against each other in a fight for survival. Quite what that entails, we don’t know. More will be announced at Gamescom.

Presumably we’re looking at a Dead Island themed answer to the ever popular MOBA (League of Legends, DOTA 2 etc.) scene.

The fact it involves three teams already throws comparisons to the side. MOBA games are built on their two team system, with only EA’s Warhammer: Wrath of Heroes sounding anything like this. Only this will have Zombies, probably.
