Steam Summer Getaway Sale Now On

After it was heavily rumoured recently in a staff member e-mail, it has no officially arrived – the latest round of heavily discounted prices will hit Steam across the next week or so as their Summer Getaway Sale is now on.

The sale will run until July 22nd, and will feature savings of up to 75% on both new and old titles, with discounts on games such as Bioshock Infinite, Skyrim and Grid 2. There will be some titles that will be reduced for the entire length of the sale, others will go on sale for only 24 hours, whilst some will only be snapped up by keen Steam spotters, in their 8-hour  flash sales.

Steam are also offering fans the chance to vote for the top titles that they would like to see added to the list of discounts. Currently you can vote for games such as FarCry 3, Dishonored and Borderlands 2. So get involved, pick up some top titles for pennies, and have a say in what other games will have their prices cut. The summer sales on Steam are always very popular, and some gamers have to restrain themselves from buying, buying, buying. So enjoy the sale, but remember – you don’t have to buy everything!
