Deadpool the game may not have set any sales records in its first week on sale in the UK, but it managed a top ten spot in the charts. Despite its commercial performance, we particularly liked the game, as you can read in the GodisaGeek Deadpool review.
To further publicise the title, and to compliment the strong, post-modern sense of humour associated with the Deadpool character – Activision and Marvel have released a series of live-action short videos, focused on a trip to the Marvel HQ offices by our Merc with the mouth.
In these videos, he talks with the HR department about sexual harassment, talks with Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso and ridicules the choice of wall decoration in the offices – amongst other things. This all ties in with the fourth wall-breaking comedy that is ever-present in the Deadpool universe, where he steps outside of his own comic book world.
