DICE Developing new Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars Battlefront was just announced in EA’s E3 conference. It will be developed by DICE in the Frostbite 3 engine.

The teaser trailer showed the Ice Planet Hoth, with a Rebel Speeder crashing before an AT-AT walker’s foot came crashing towards the camera.

The title also clearly reads Battlefront, not Battlefront 3, hinting that this game is a fresh take on the series by the Battlefield bods. Smart money is on a more realistic feel to the experience, something more grounded, compared to the original’s rather loose, floaty feel.
