After the runaway success of The Walking Dead: The Game, future titles from Telltale Games have certainly become hot property in the games industry. That game won multiple awards, and was both a critical and commercial success – so it is no surprise that excitement for The Wolf Among Us, their title based on the Fables series of comics, is reaching fever pitch.
To further fan the flames of interest, Game Informer have posted this lengthy article concerning the game, where they interview several key figures from the development of the game – as well as posting the first ever batch of in-game screenshots. And it must be said that the game is looking very impressive, with the comic-book style graphics looking to have taken a huge leap forwards in terms of quality since their last game.
The article goes into detail about the in-game mechanics, where the team explains that the game will make use of many of the popular features we saw in action in The Walking Dead, whilst offering harder moral decisions, deeper inter-character relationships and even greater re-playability and multiple story paths than ever before. Considering how strong the emotional bond between Lee and Clementine was, and the horrible choices that gamers had to make in The Walking Dead – it will be interesting to see how Telltale can top that.

The Wolf Among Us is currently slated for release sometime in Q2 2013, for Windows PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
