The Bat is back. Over at GameInformer, they’ve revealed the cover star for their May issue and its the one and only, Bruce Wayne.
The long-rumoured Batman: Arkham Origins is being developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal, whilst diehards will remember UK studio Rocksteady developed the first two games. The post on GameInformer says that WB Montreal have been given access to Rocksteady’s Arkhamified Unreal engine, in order to present the game in the same style as the previous games.
Batman villian Deathstroke is also on the cover and signifies the first time the character will appear in an Arkham game. Eric Holmes is creative director on the project and has headed up the two open-world titles: The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and Prototype.
And…you won’t be waiting long because the game is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and motherflipping Wii U on October 25. Traditionally, games release in North America on a Tuesday and October 25 is a Friday, which probably points to worldwide release date. Hopefully.
Batman, yeah!
