Watch Japan’s Nintendo Direct Live Here at 8am BST

Today is all about Nintendo and their brand new console, the Wii U.

Throughout the day we’ll be bringing you Nintendo Direct videos, press conference details; the works. Why is this such a major thing? Well, Nintendo have confirmed that they will be finally announcing prices and release dates for different territories.

This first stream will be presented by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata and will reveal the Japanese price and release date, which may give some indication as to when we in Europe and North America might expect it to launch.

Later today there will be a second Japanese Nintendo Direct too, which will focus on launch titles from both Nintendo themselves, and third parties too. That video will be live at 3pm, the exact same time the North American press event starts, and the same time the European Nintendo Direct video will be streaming.
