Check Out the Awesome Borderlands 2 Special Editions
Borderlands 2 is already looking like being one of the best games of 2012, and hardcore fans will no doubt be delighted to learn there will be not one, but two special editions available at launch.
2K Games and Gearbox Software have today revealed exactly what players can expect from the two special editions, the Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition and the Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition.
Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition will retail for £64.99 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC and it will include:
- A copy of Borderlands 2
- Authentic Marcus Kincaid bobblehead
- Inside the Vault: The Art & Design of Borderlands 2 hardbound book
- Collectable sticker set
- Map of Pandora
- Digital comic download code
- Bonus downloadable in-game digital content
Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition will retail for £99.99 on Xbox 360/PS3 or £74.99 on PC and will include:
- All of those items listed in the Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Edition
- A collectable scaled replica of the red loot chests found throughout Pandora in Borderlands 2
- Steelbook case
- Creatures of Pandora wide-format ID chart
- Lithograph postcard set; field notes from Sir Hammerlock
- Cloth map of Pandora
- A numbered certificate of authenticity
Not only that everyone who pre-orders the Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition, Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition or the standard edition will gain access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club. This will allow them to download the Gearbox Gun Pack, a Golden Key, the Vault Hunter’s Relic and an all-new fifth character class, the Mechromancer.
