Alan Wake’s American Nightmare Comes to PC

The stand alone package, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, is now available for PC. Remedy Entertainment announced that you can now pick up the game on Steam and GOG for £11.99. Gamers who have the original Alan Wake on PC will get a further 15% off the price.

Matias Myllyrinne, CEO at Remedy said, “Our heritage is in developing PC games so naturally we’re thrilled to be bringing the newest  Alan Wake  story to PC gamers…We’ve worked hard to continue to make the experience worthwhile to fans that wait patiently for our PC releases, and we think they’ll agree this is an excellent addition.”

The PC version of  the game has received a new coat of paint in the looks department. Alan Wake’s American Nightmare has graphical improvements, texture resolutions and a few more new features that will make fans of the author foam at the mouth. The horror title now even includes a new difficulty called Nightmare.

As well as all that, there is a new mode called Fight till Dawn. Fight till Dawn is an arcade styled mode that sees Alan Wake fighting off many different enemies whilst the player tries to last as long as they can. The goal is to reach the top of the leaderboard with your arsenal of flare gun, nail gun, uzi and more.
