Skyrim to Get Kinect Support Update – Better Start Practicing Your Dragon Language!

by on April 12, 2012

Bethesda has today revealed that it will be bringing a title update to Xbox 360 players that will enable their copy of Skyrim to accept more than 200 Voice Commands.

If you have a Kinect and a copy of Skyrim, the new voice integration will be implemented throughout the game in the form of voice commands that will come in the form of Dragon Shouts, Hotkey Equipping, Follower Commands, and all Menus (Items, Magic, Map, Barter, Container, Favourites, and Skills).

Skyrim’s Kinect for Xbox 360 support also adds new functionality, including special map functions, more hot key options and additional item sorting options.

If you are a Kinect savvy gamer, you’ll be able to become even more engrossed in what is generally considered one of the more engrossing games on the market. Bethesda has also moved to remind us that it is working on a number of Xbox 360 exclusive updates that will add new quests, locations and features to the game. They aren’t ready to reveal specifics just yet, but you can find out what they’ve got planned here at GodisaGeek soon.

The new voice integration is due this month. What do you think of voice integration in games? Will the upcoming Skyrim update encourage you to give it a go? Let us know in the comments section, below!
