First Look (On Tour) – Dark Souls
What better way to kick off a new spin on a current feature than with a game like Dark Souls?
We know you’ll be excited to see this, and in our first ever First Look (On Tour), we have the lovely Pete Oliver from Namco Bandai playing and talking us through a section of Dark Souls, from Eurogamer Expo 2011.
In this short video, you’ll see Pete playing as a new class for the franchise. He isn’t playing as a low level character, and yes – he still dies, despite having played this section an awful lot of times. Pete assures us that the camera put him off.
As you can see, the game looks stunning, and the animation for battle is lovely. Our review of Dark Souls is in progress, but we can safely assure you that we are very much enjoying it.
Dark Souls is due out October 7th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
