Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City – New Trailer
There’s not a lot of stuff that get us excited here at GodisaGeek.com, but shooting zombies in the face with shotguns is pretty much right up there near the top of the list. When Capcom announced that they were working a new entry into the Resident Evil series of games we almost couldn’t contain our excitement. We managed though.
Somehow.
Set in September 1998, during the outbreak of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, team based shooter, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, watches events unfold from the perspective of the Umbrella Security Service. Fans will see the return of favourite RE enemies and iconic characters, including Leon S. Kennedy who is on your hit list to eliminate to keep Umbrella’s secrets from being revealed.
The brand new trailer shows the total chaos that is being unleashed on Raccoon City as the USS battle against the opposing US Spec Ops squad and zombies and B.O.W’s, adding an unpredictable twist to the gameplay that could only exist in the Resident Evil universe.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City doesn’t currently have a solid release date other than “Winter 2011″. We’ll bring you more information when we have it.
