Dungeon Siege 3 – Lucas Vignette
The Dungeon Siege series of games often get people worked up, with a loyal fanbase that will always come back for more no matter what. A well presented marketing campaign always helps maintain that, with at least part of that campaign being trailers. This latest Dungeon Siege 3 trailer, from Square Enix, is a vignette giving some details about one of the upcoming games’ characters. Lucas Montbarron.
Let’s hope Uwe Boll stays far away from this Dungeon Siege tale.
Lucas Montbarron is last of a noble and respected line. Lucas has been taught the art of combat in the ancient and deadly style of the Legion. Fighting with sword and shield, he slashes, stuns, and blocks his opponents. Facing a throng of foes, he draws his mighty greatsword and cleaves through them like a reaper harvesting grain. He will not rest, until the Legion is rebuilt and his murdered family’s honor is restored.
Dungeon Siege 3 is set to be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on the 27th May 2011 in Europe and the 31st May 2011 in North America.
