L.A. Noire Pre-Order Bonuses To Be Made Available To All

When Rockstar Games announced that they would be offering up a range of retailer-exclusive downloadable pre-order bonuses to accompany the release of their upcoming open-world Crime Drama L.A. Noire, gamers probably thought that they would be forced to choose one option and forsake all others – or miss out entirely if they fail to pre-order from one of the partner retailers. Well fear not fair readers, Rockstar have now stated that all of the different items and extras that are offered via the various retailers will be available to all for purchase as downloadable content later.

As was the intention with pre-order bonuses released via retailers with Red Dead Redemption – all of the extras will appear in Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network sometime after release. On their official website Rockstar stated that “all of the L.A. Noire pre-order content will be made available for purchase as DLC at some point after the game comes out. We have long planned to do this for all digital pre-order items.”

I say that it was the intention because the RDR content is still yet to appear online for purchase. However, those extra items; the Deadly Assassin Outfit, Golden Guns Weapon Pack and War Horse, will be finally available for download on both consoles in April. Apparently some technical issues had held up the implementation of this. So don’t hold your breath for the L.A. Noire bonuses to become available on your console of choice – you may be in for a bit of a wait.
